I'm so happy, finally i can share another creation i made. Rose cake is so popular that a lot of bakers alike had their own version and usually they do it in a round cake. Since it was my birthday last weekend (Happy Birthday to me! lol) By the way thanks to my friends, colleagues and family who greeted me. I really appreciate all your greetings and gifts. Pardon me friends if you didn't hear anything from me it's just i didn't had a chance to plan and celebrate a party. Instead i had a small dinner with my family at Max's of Manila Restaurant in Toronto. I was missing Filipino foods and what a better time go in Max's Restaurant (famous restaurant in the Philippines known for their crispy chicken). I had a good time spending good food especially their halo-halo (it's a popular dessert mix of shave ice, milk,sweets beans and fruits) and free birthday freebies it's a scoop of ice cream in custard and especially good times with loved ones.
Fortunately, i had time to bake again and i will share to you a slice of my cake. Hope you guys enjoy this virtual treat as how my family like it and i enjoyed making this.
The cake is made of Chiffon cake in real Yam (Ube) flavor with real yam fillings.
Frosting is made of flavored Ube Buttercream frosting.
I called this cake La Vie En Rose cake.

you can't go wrong buying or giving them Yam (Ube) cake.
It's a taste of home.
